Head of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Nghe An Province ordered the Director of Ban Ve Hydropower Company to release water downstream with a flow no greater than the flood flow to the reservoir to cut off water, reducing floods downstream. Discharge flow through the project was from 300m3/s to 800m3/s (including discharge flow through the spillway and power generation flow through the generating unit).
